AUGUST 

Guitar Camp for Beginners: Session I

Basics of the instrument and fundamentals of music theory, learn the best postures and understand the fingerboard, use the new technologies and how to use Apps and tutorials efficiently.

Basic concepts of fingerings and chords. Instructors Eduardo Fonseca and Carla Campopiano.

Andean wind instruments with Maestro Juan Pinos

Andean wind instruments and construction Immersive Workshop about Andean  pentatonic music traditional instruments its construction and interpretation lectured by Maestro Juan Pinos

Juan is a recognized composer, interpreter and multi instrumentalist  from Ecuador relocated to New Jersey. Classes are lectured in English and Spanish

 

Art of the World Music : Session I

​Music appreciation and Music History through engaging group activities in person. 

​

Close out Concert 

Students and teachers will play along the repertoire in a non performance oriented ensemble.

Guitarist and Maestro Ramiro Barrios will perform a solo music concert from the jazz repertoire

JUNE

Art of the World Music : Session I

Music appreciation and Music History through engaging group activities in person, online optional, all classes will be recorded in a library with unlimited free access.

Participants will learn the fundamentals of Music in a dynamic class singing and playing rhythmic corporal games.

The repertoire includes a varied range of music from all over the world. Young students will also learn the pleasure of listening and music appreciation and recognize instruments and music styles. 

2 days music classes of 45 minutes

Adult Piano Camp Beginners

Basics of piano and fundamentals of music theory, learn how to use the new technologies and how to use Apps and tutorials.

Basic concepts of fingerings and articulations.

The objective of this course is to bring an immersive experience to an absolute beginner participant, enjoying the pleasure of doing music from the first day. Strategies to efficient weekly practice.

Flute Intensive

Carla Campopiano and friends will lecture 2 days intensive curse focused on the improvement of the posture through interpretation, students will receive the materials 2 weeks in advance. The course will include excerpts of the classical flute repertoire. Participants will also learn efficient strategies for tone development and sight reading.

Art of the World Music : Session II

Music appreciation and Music History through engaging group activities in person. This curse is a continuation of session one. It will also include the fundamentals of use of music  production and the use of music software, (recording and music writing)

JULY

Tangology tango music boot camp

Carla Campopiano & Eduardo Fonseca will lecture about the fundamentals of tango music. 2 immersive classes of 1 hour 15 minutes.

Participants of levels welcome. The class will include the listening and practicing of the rhythmic traditional patterns in tango music as well as the interpretative style as rubbato, articulations and phrasing.

Materials will be available 2 weeks in advance.

A letter to the teachers strongly suggested contact through the site.

July 1-9 | all ages | 

Baroque repertoire recorder

Recorder for beginners intermediate. participants will play in a recorder ensemble with simple and playable arrangements.

Repertoire will include traditional and unconventional recorder repertoire

July 7-16 | ages 8-adult |

Ensemble string quartet, baroque recorder, flute choir.

This course is oriented to intermediate students who want to experience the joy of playing together in small ensembles with a dedicated coach to facilitate the understanding of music Theory and interpretation as well as improve skills in sight reading.

maximum 8 students per group.

World Music Ensemble Adults

This course will cover a selected repertoire of a wide range of music styles and is oriented to amateur adult music players who enjoy the pleasure of playing music for joy.

groups will be formed according to the instruments.

This course will cover a selected repertoire of a wide range of music styles and is oriented to young music players, repertoire will be chosen accordingly.
